Kylie Kristeen
A Christ follower since age 7, Kylie Kristeen does not recall a time when she wasn’t talking to Jesus. Growing up with such intimacy with the Lord was sweet. But as life went on and her heart’s desires went unmet, she discovered that while saying “yes” to God as a child was easy, the second “yes” to keep pursuing Him in the midst of confusion and hurt required a fight she didn’t know she had.
At the age of 19, Kylie felt the Lord calling her into full-time ministry… and also telling her “not yet,” words which have coincidentally also become the unofficial anthem of her life. So she did the exact thing she swore she’d never do: move back to Cincinnati, Ohio where she spent about a decade teaching music both formally and informally. Finally, 15 years after receiving that call to ministry (because who doesn’t love a good long wait…), she left the school system and took on a position in full time ministry.
Now as a writer, speaker, and worship leader at her home church Every Nation Cincinnati, Kylie’s teaching is both relatable and dynamic. Her aim is to help other women, who may have found themselves in a surprisingly disappointing season, discover the fight in them and partner with the Holy Spirit to win the race set before them to receive the prize that is theirs in Christ Jesus. Bonus points if there’s a latte involved in the process.
